PFRDA Recruitment 2026 – 30 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Posts

Posted: 05-Sep-2026, 06:48 AM

PFRDA, the regulatory body overseeing India’s pension sector including the National Pension System, has opened recruitment for 30 Officer Grade A posts split across four specialised streams: General (open to postgraduates as well as Law/Engineering graduates and finance professionals like CA/CS/CMA/CFA), Research (economics, finance, statistics and data-science backgrounds), Actuary (candidates who’ve cleared all seven Core Principles papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India), and Official Language/Rajbhasha (Hindi-English translation qualifications).

Candidates can apply to a maximum of two streams, but each stream needs its own separate application and fee. Since the eligible degrees and professional qualifications vary quite a bit between streams, it’s worth checking exactly which stream your qualification and work background fit before applying, rather than assuming the General stream is the only option.

This is a well-paying regulatory post – the pay scale runs into six figures monthly with allowances, and selected candidates work out of PFRDA’s New Delhi or Mumbai offices, with a 2-year probation period. Given the fairly narrow eligibility windows for some streams (like Actuary and Rajbhasha), and the layered three-phase selection process, candidates should start preparing well ahead of the phase I screening exam.
