Educational Qualification
Industrial Safety
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering/Management, or B.Tech in Safety/Fire Engineering, as prescribed for the relevant post.
Geology
Post Graduate Degree in Geology or Applied Geology.
Electrical
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology.
Mechanical
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Machinery.
Civil
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Medical & Health Services
MBBS from an MCI-recognized institute with the prescribed experience, including relevant emergency services or Occupational Health experience. Candidates with the prescribed PG Diploma qualification must also satisfy the applicable clinical experience requirement. Valid medical registration and relevant experience certificates are required.
Environment Management
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/Technology, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with a relevant PG Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering/Management/Science, or Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Science.
Mineral Processing
B.Tech/B.E. in Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Engineering or Mineral Processing, or M.Tech in the relevant fields.
Finance
Passed Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Human Resources
MBA with specialization in Personnel Management/HR, or PG Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/HR. Master’s in Social Work may also be acceptable subject to the conditions prescribed in the notification.
Survey
Bachelor’s Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering with Surveyor Certificate of Competency, or M.Tech in Geomatics, as prescribed.
Experience Requirements
Experience is reckoned only from the date of obtaining the basic/essential qualification prescribed for the relevant post. Only relevant post-qualification experience in the applicable field is considered.
Relevant experience may include work in Mining, Metal, Manufacturing or other eligible industries subject to the experience requirements prescribed by HCL.
Applicants are required to upload supporting employment documents. The notification requires candidates to provide at least two applicable documents for each employment, such as appointment letter, pay slip, Form-16, PF statement or bank statement showing salary credit.
Training, consultancy, teaching, fellowship, internship, apprenticeship and academic project experience is not counted as qualifying experience.

For the M&HS cadre, the prescribed grade is FTE-II with consolidated pay of ₹94,200 per month, subject to the qualification, experience and salary conditions in the notification.
